Brandi, Cirilo and the gang at Cafe Lumiere have unveiled some new offerings for the cafe this week.
Over the weekend, Cirilo debuted his limited-run ibarra hot chocolate. Be sure to check out tomorrow’s column for the scoop on that delicious drink!
Now, Cafe Lumiere has unveiled a new breakfast menu. Cirilo already has a cult following for Sunday brunch at Cafe Lumiere. Now, you can get your fix during the week too. The breakfast menu includes breakfast bowls ($5) with slow-poached eggs, kale, ciabatta and herb creme fraiche with options for meat (bacon or sausage) or veggie (avocado and tomato). But it’s the open-faced breakfast sandwich ($5) that caught my eye–two slow-poached eggs on toast with Brie, tomato, avocado and pesto. Yum!
Check out the full menu, which includes their cafe staples–like steel-cut oatmeal–and new additions.
This little cafe inside the Osio Cinemas consistently tops by list for the best in town. I’m always stopping in for my Acme coffee fix. But most of us–myself included–forget about the great food options Cirilo has in the cafe too. Their selection of panini, sandwiches and rotating lunch specials–including pho, occasionally–are top-notch and reasonably priced.
