Coming soon: Savor the Flavor of Spring at Lokal

Hotly anticipated Lokal restaurant–the brainchild of Brendan Jones (son of Mike Jones of Cachagua General Store fame/infamy) and Matthew Zolan–is hosting another pop-up dinner. Colleen Logan’s Savor The Local is coordinating a pop-up dinner on Sunday, April 29. Chef Jones will create a seven-course dinner menu highlight the best of spring, including produce from Mariquita Farm and local lamb.

Cost is $100 per person and includes food, wine, tax and tip. For reservations, call 831-708-8315 or email colleen AT savorthelocal DOT com.

Savor The Local has hosted some delicious “Big Night at Belle” pop-up dinners at Carmel Belle. The last dinner–a feast of pork–was mighty tasty, so needless to say, I’m bummed I’ll be out of town for this dinner.

Still no word on when Lokal will be open for regular dinner service. But it should be soon!
