Weekend specials, March 23-25: Bistro Moulin

The weather report looks like rain’s in the forecast for this weekend again. Bummer. But let’s take a look at the menu additions that might lift your dampened spirits, starting with Bistro Moulin in Monterey:

Paella de Marisco
Spanish Bomba rice with shrimp, Manilla clams, mussels, Monterey calamari and Bilbao chorizo simmered in a saffron-shellfish broth

Loup de Mer au Fenouil
New Zealand sea bass with fennel-potato gratin, roasted tomatoes with fresh thyme, scallop beurre blanc

Alert the presses! Looks like chef Didier has paella on the menu this weekend! I can’t think of a better remedy for wet weather than a big skillet of paella!
