Weekend specials, February 3-5: Bistro Moulin

This weekend is the quiet before the storm that is the AT&T ProAm. I don’t know about you, but once the golfers come to town, I skip dining in Monterey and Carmel and take the opportunity to explore the great dining spots off the beaten path over in Seaside and Marina. This weekend is my last chance to sneak in a visit before the golfers take over.

As an added bonus, the Super Bowl is this weekend, and many restaurants find themselves light on reservations while football fans glue themselves to the TV. It’s the perfect time for a nice dinner out. Let’s check in and see what’s on the menu around town this weekend, starting with Bistro Moulin:

Lapin aux Champignons des Bois
Braised rabbit with forest mushrooms, caramelized shallots, roasted  Yukon gold potatoes, garden herbs & natural jus

Loup de Mer aux Epices
Fillet of sea bass with celeriac mousseline, asparagus, and zesty shrimp veloute
