Tropical paradise at Mrs. DeLish’s Cupcake Boutique

The calendar says it’s winter and the weather outside this weekend has been cold, blustery and wet, but that doesn’t have to spoil our fun. Mrs. DeLish’s Cupcake Boutique has a tropical paradise awaiting customers:

Come join us for our Polynesian Week celebration beginning Saturday, 21 January and running through Sunday, 29 January. We’ve prepared lots of enticing and exotic tropical flavored cupcakes for your enjoyment. We’ve got papaya, mango, pineapple, coconut, passionfruit, guava, lychee, tahitian vanilla, kona coffee, chocolate macadamia, and the list goes on…your taste buds will think you’re on a tropical island and they won’t want to leave! You may even end up dancing the hula before it’s all said and done.

The boutique has had a makeover with leis and tropical flowers adorning the pastry case. And the cupcakes are garnished with edible mini-orchids, each flower infused with infused with watermelon and cucumber essence.

So if you’re looking for a break from the dreary winter weather, drop by Mrs. DeLish’s shop at 800 Lighthouse Avenue in Monterey. But remember to bring cash–the shop doesn’t take credit cards.

And stay up-to-date on the latest from Mrs. DeLish’s cupcakes via Facebook.
