Holiday specials: Christmas Eve dinner at Bistro Moulin

Today, Bistro Moulin revealed their Christmas Eve dinner menu. Chef Didier is preparing a three-course prix fixe menu for the night, in addition to the regular dinner menu. The Christmas Eve dinner is available for $40 per person (excluding tax, tip and beverages). Take a peek at the menu:

Christmas Eve Prix Fixe Dinner Menu 2011
Forty dollars per person plus tax & gratuity
Served in addition to our regular menu

Appetizer, choice of:
Terrine de Campagne
House-made country style paté

Betteraves Rôties
Roasted beets, goat cheese, caramelized walnuts, and petite salad

Gnocchi con Tartuffi
Truffled gnocchi in a Parmesan cream sauce, au gratin

Dungeness Crab Bisque

Main Course, choice of:
Cailles Roties Lyonnaises
Roasted quails flamed with Cognac, red cabbage with caramelized apple, fingerling potatoes, and Port wine reduction

Loup de Mer au Coulis de Crevettes
Sea bass dusted with mild spices, shrimp veloute, celeriac mousseline, and micro greens

Steak Bordelaise
Grilled Niman Ranch hanger steak, shallot-cabernet sauce, and pommes frites

Dessert, choice of:
Bûche de Noël
French Christmas cake

Poire au Muscat
Poached pear in Muscat wine, Tahitian vanilla ice cream
