Holiday specials: New Year’s Eve at Bistro Moulin

Over the weekend, Bistro Moulin revealed the menu for their annual New Year’s Eve dinner. This year, Chef Didier is preparing a four-course prix fixe dinner for $65 per person (excluding tax, tip and beverages). Take a peek:

First Course
Les Gougères au Conté

Second Course (choice)
Tartare de Saumon
Alaskan salmon tartare with avocado and micro greens

Coeur de Laitue au Roquefort
Butter leaf heart with Serano chips, candied pecans, and Roquefort dressing

Third Course (choice)
Cassolette de Champignons des Bois aux Escargots
Forest mushrooms and escargots in garlic butter, and pine nuts

Bisque de Homard
Lobster bisque with chive crème fraiche

Gnocchi a la Truffe
Truffle gnocchi baked in Parmesan cream sauce “au gratin”

Main Course (choice)
Filet au Poivre
Filet mignon flamed with Cognac, peppercorn demi glace, whipped Yukon Gold potatoes

Noix de Saint-Jacques
Seared Diver’s Sea Scallops, cauliflower mousseline, espelette-shellfish broth

Magret de Canard au Foie Gras
Duck breast with foie gras demi-glace, potato gratin, and brussel sprouts amandine

Risotto au Beaufort de Savoie
Arborio rice risotto with medley of mushroom, Laitue chiffonnade, petite pea coulis and Beaufort fondue
