Monterey Bay Restaurant Week: Fandango

The countdown to Monterey Bay Restaurant Week continues. This time, let’s take a peek at the menu from an icon of the Pacific Grove dining scene, Fandango.

Fandango is offering two prix fixe menus–one for $35 and another for $45. Here’s a look at the latter, which includes some rather tasty options:

First Course, choice of:
House Cured Salmon, Heirloom Tomatoes & Mozzarella, or Onion Soup

Entrée, choice of:
Filet Mignon & Scampi, Rack of Lamb, Canard a l’Orange, Short Ribs Bourguignon, Paella, or Filet of Salmon

Dessert, choice of:
Souffle, Profiteroles, or Colonel

I’m not gonna lie, Fandango can get pretty pricey with entrees alone priced around $30. At $45, excluding tax and tip, this is a decent deal if you’re looking to try something new on Fandango’s menu. (The duck a l’orange caught my eye, that’s for sure.)
