Monterey Bay Restaurant Week: Restaurant 1833

Are you ready for Restaurant Week, foodies? Let’s take a look at Restaurant 1833’s menu for Monterey Bay Restaurant Week to whet your appetite for the culinary adventures in store in just two weeks:

First course, choice of:
Jerusalem Artichoke Soup, Crispy Hen Egg or Beet Salad

Entree course, choice of:
English Pea Ravioli, Pan Roasted Sea Bass or Roasted Chicken Breast

Dessert course, choice of:
Bookers Butter Bourbon Pudding, Mixed Berry Shortcake or Chocolate Mousse Cake

$45 per person
Beverages, tax, or gratuity not included.

That hen egg is one of the tastier items on the menu. And $45 is pretty reasonable for three courses at Restaurant 1833—it’s not a restaurant known for bargain dining and I rarely get put of there for under $60 a person. I just wish the bone marrow had made the cut for the prix fixe menu, but that’s one of the pricier apps, so I’m not surprised it didn’t make the cut.

If you haven’t been to Restaurant 1833 yet, this is certainly a deal you might want to snag—it’ll let you try their menu without costing too many pennies.
