Let the countdown begin, foodies! We’re now just two weeks away from Monterey Bay Restaurant Week. That’s right, Restaurant Week starts October 20 and runs through October 27. For those of you not in the know, Restaurant Week lets you sample the fine cuisine at local restaurants with reasonably priced prix fixe menus at many local restaurants. Most are offering a three-course dinner for just $35. (Though some menus are priced as low as $25 or as high as $45.)
The lineup this year includes the usual suspects–Basil Carmel, Fandango, Andre’s Bouchee–along with some new faces–most notably, Carmel Food Company and Restaurant 1833.
So to celebrate the countdown, I’ll be posting teasers of the menus online over the next few days to whet your appetite.
