Specials, week of September 27: il Vecchio

il Vecchio announced some menu additions for this week on their Facebook page. Let’s take a look what’s in store for diners:

Spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino ($10)
The simple classic with a spicy flavor made with DeCecco spaghetti, garlic, olive oil, hot chile, parsley. (Note: spaghetti requires 11 minutes to cook.)
Pairs well with Valdichiana Bianco Vergine, Maso Poli Pinot Grigio.

Rigatoni con spuntatura di maiale ($12)
Braised pork ribs simmered in tomato sauce with DeCecco rigatoni (Note: 14 min cooking time).
Pairs well with a full-bodied red — Chianti Colli Senesi, DaVero Barbera.
