Weekend specials, September 16-18: Bistro Moulin

I was on the road yesterday, so apologies for the tardiness in posting the specials around town this weekend! Let’s get things started at Bistro Moulin. After a brief closure this week for staff vacations, they’re back in action this weekend. What does Chef Didier have on the menu?

Côtellette de Porc Forestière
Roasted natural Berkshire pork rack with medley of exotic mushrooms, Yukon gold whipped potatoes, caramelized carrots, Madeira demi-glace
$28

Sole Nantua
Fillet of Petrale sole with wilted spinach leaves, fennel fondue, lobster-shellfish velouté
$25

Hard to pick which one sounds better–the pork or that lobster-shellfish veloute? It’s been too long since my last Bistro Moulin fix–I found out the hard way that they were closed this past Tuesday/Wednesday–so I might have to make some time for (more) French fare this weekend. Mmmmm.
