Coming Soon: Ty Ku sake and soju dinner at Point Pinos Grill

Pacific Grove’s Point Pinos Grill has been making quite the name for itself with some innovative—and affordable—pairing dinners with local breweries and wineries. (Just this past weekend, they hosted a sold-out beer-pairing dinner with Uncommon Brewers.)

Point Pinos Grill_TY KU dinner flyerNext Thursday, they’re turning their focus to the East, offering a dinner paired with sake and soju. Many diners are familiar with sake, a rice wine popular in Japan. Soju is a similarly low-alcohol spirit traditionally from Korea, distilled from rice (though other grains or starches may be used). It’s an easy replacement for vodka to craft creative cocktails.

The kitchen is teaming with Ty Ku to offer cocktails and sips of sake to pair with delicious cuisine from chef Dory Ford and the Aqua Terra team. The impressive menu includes many mouthwatering options, priced at a very budget-friendly $60 per person, including tax, beverage pairings and gratuity. Check out the menu:
